Mahakal Jyotirlinga is located in Ujjain and Ujjain is also known as the city of Baba Mahakal.
This temple of Baba Mahakal was built around 6th century BC. And among the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, Baba Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga is the chief.
